Thank you for joining us at our recent colt sale! Mark your calendars for next years sale on Saturday, July 12th at 10am. Our sale is a casual auction and registration is not required. We look forward to seeing you there! (Spiderweb Camp, located 30 miles North of Flag on Hwy 89 between mile marker 450 & 451)
Please note that colt purchases require a cash or check deposit on the day of the sale. The deposit amount is $250 for sales up to $2,000 or $500 for sales over $2,000. The balance is due the following spring when the colts are picked up.
The Hashknife horse breeding program was established in the late 1940s with the aim of breeding high-quality working ranch quarter horses that could efficiently work and pen cattle. Over the years, the program has grown to become a community event through our Annual Colt Sale, which was introduced in the early 1990s. During the auction, Babbitt Ranches cowboys guide foals and mares into a corral where they are sold to interested buyers.
